Joseph Chimczuk died 19 Years ago, leaving his estate to the City of Windsor to build the Chimczuk MuseumTM. This has not been done. We are committed to the fulfillment of Joe's dream .


Joseph Chimczuk was born on October 17th. 1897 in Pednolaccyke, Ukraine. After 4 years of education in a rural environment, he finally decided to come to Canada in 1926. At first in Winnipeg, he moved to Windsor, and, by 1934 had married Anna (who had children by her previous marriage) who was a hospital worker. click here to read more...

Incorporated in Ontario in November 2005, we have three directors who knew Joseph Chimczuk and/or his wife Anna (Annie) personally. We decided that, since fifteen years had passed since his death and no action had been taken to build the "Chimczuk Museum"TM (that he so wanted), that we needed to form a "team" to get this finally accomplished.
